Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to independently wield standard techniques in ordinary differential equations. They can solve certain classes of differential equations and have understood the basic analytical techniques. They are familiar with and have understood the course content given below.

Existence and uniqueness of the solution to initial value problems, fundamental solution methods, systems of linear differential equations of first order an linear differential equations of higher order, fundamentals of qualitative theory, linear boundary problems, Sturm-Liouville theory, applications of differential equations
