Aim of course

The course provides an introduction to some entropy techniques for the analysis of diffusive partial differential equations which can be found in research literature.

Subject of course

Existence, uniqueness and large-time behaviour of (bounded) weak solutions to some classes of diffusive PDEs, study of discrete and geometric structures of such equations, derivation of convex Sobolev inequalities.
