After successful completion of the course, students are able to look into mathematical subjects on their own (with only some supervision) that go beyond the contents of lecture. Furthermore, they learn to use mathematical literature, to present their mathematical knowledge in a comprehensible way and scientific writing by means of a seminar paper.
Continuation and deeper specialization of topics introduced in the lecture differential equation 1.
Supervised discussion of a selected topic with the help of mathematical literature (books, scientific papers), presentation by students with feedback, supervision for scientific writing in Latex.
