Aim of course

Modelling and Analysis of dynamical processes in cell biology. Preparation for a Bachelor or Diploma Thesis in this area.

Subject of course

This course is concerned with mathematical modeling, analysis and simulation of selected cell biological processes.  The focus is on mathematical modelling and analysis (based on ordinary differential equations) of  biochemical processes by which a cell reacts to external stimuli and transfers signals into its interior to regulate basic cellular activities, e.g. cell growth, cell differentiation, and cell division.
