Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to choose a suitable software for a biomedical engineering project. The student is able to perform, analyze, and visualize a computer simulation.

Subject of course

Simulation of physiological and pathological time dependent processes, compartment models, software for analytic and numeric evaluation, finite elements, visualization, validation.

Matlab exercises + reports, presentation + handout about choosen simulation-software

 Lecture materials will be provided via TUWEL around mid of
November: Powerpoint with video support and online meetings for
questions. Exercises: for the solved exercises in Matlab a scientific
report has to be created, there will be online support by the lecturers.
Student presentations will be in January (depending on the actual corona
situation either online or in a lecture room). Registration in TUWEL
necessary, further information will be provided there.
