Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to choose a suitable software for a biomedical engineering project. The student is able to perform, analyze, and visualize a computer simulation.

Subject of course

Simulation of physiological and pathological time dependent processes, compartment models, software for analytic and numeric evaluation, finite elements, visualization, validation.

Teaching methods

Matlab exercises + reports, presentation + handout about choosen simulation-software

blocked lecture Dec 9-13, lecture times will be from 2-7 pm

student presentations in january

location will be announced in early october

a tutorial in matlab and in a second simulation software should be done as precognition
