Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand, explain and apply key concepts and methods of the theory of dynamical systems. They are able to analyse important aspects of the behaviour of dynamical systems with analytical and computational methods.

Subject of course

Qualitative theory of ordinary differential equations, dynamical systems, time asymptotic behaviour, invariant manifolds, normal forms, bifurcations, attractors, applications in biology and physics
