Biophysiological background of the circulatory system.Mathematical modelling of the circulatory system (static models, ordinary differential equations, ..., 3-dimensional partial differential equations). Explicit solving or simulation of the models with suitable methods (ode-solver, finite elements, Lattice Boltzmann).
