After successful completion of the course, students are able to handle information and hints for continuation of thier master thesis or of their PhD thesis resp, and for the final master examination or fot the defensio of their PhD thesis.

Selected problems from modelling, simulation and applied mathematics (concentrating around control of systems, optimization, stability) are discussed with students working on a thesis.
