Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to understand the relation between TA, sustainability and technology development and identify TA-relevant topics.

They will be able to recognize differences between TA-methods in different TA projects and to explain the difference between qualitative and quantitative TA-methods.

Students can use their knowledge on LCA and identify the goal and define a scope for application of LCA or ethical issues for their PhD projects.  The students will be able to reflect on their own work in relation to social issues and the possible effects of the technical solutions they have developed.
