Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to  support teachers in the implementation of distance learning courses. This concerns both organizational and technical aspects of the course implementation.

Teaching methods

Lecture part:

  • Introductory lectures take place on 30.09.2020 from 12.30-15.30 (via zoom)
  • Demonstrations of TUWEL functions and technical tools for teaching
  • "Lessons" in TUWEL with the possibility of collecting points
  • Literature for self-study

Exercise part:

  • Application of the acquired knowledge in the assigned courses
  • Online office hours for technical and organizational matters
  • Supervised forum for questions from tutors

Examination modalities

For a successful participation in the course you have to:

  •    collect at least 75% of points from the TUWEL lessons ("self-study courses") and
  •     upload a practice report including a confirmation of the practical work. (A form is provided for

               this purpose).

The grading is not done by assigning a grade (1-5), but by checking the LVA performance through "participation (not) successful".


The best practice reports will be published at the HP of TU Wien. Upon request, the vice-rectorate for academic affairs and teaching will also issue a certificate to these tutors that confirms the acquisition and application of outstanding digital skills (in teaching).
