Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students are able to work independently on tasks assigned to them within their respective feminist network, paying particular attention to gender aspects and project management methods. The students have dealt with the current situation of women* and men* at their respective faculty. Students are familiar with various mechanisms of exclusion of women and minorities in academia and current debates in this field. Through a collegial and inter-faculty exchange in the course of two workshops, but also during the semester, the sharing of best practices between the various feminist networks is made possible on the one hand and the personal reflection process of the students is stimulated on the other.

Subject of course

  • Active participation in one of the feminist networks
  • Exclusion mechanisms in science: unconscious bias, academic excellence, but also current debates in the field of gender & diversity; resistance & change in connection with gender equality measures
  • Project management
