The course provides first theoretical and practical insights into the role and application of technology assessment (TA) for future engineers.
Students will learn problem definition and research design in TA as well as TA methods ; Participants will work in small groups on examples.Course contents:- Terminology of the technology assessment- Technology in its social context (history of TA, objectives and role of TA, TA methods)- Presentation of the case studies
